Supposedly, I say that because this could be random rubbish but seems interesting anyway. Supposedly Sharp sales men have been bragging about a big customer for their SOC (system on chip).
That big customer could be Apple and the chip could easily be used in a Video iPod, the chip is rumoured to feature a 200MHz ARM processor, support for MMC, CF, IrDA, USB 2.0 and many other features.
Curiosity in this rumour is why would Apple switch from there current chip suppliers, they are SigmaTel and PortalPlayer, well they do like switching a lot.
